Doodhpathri Overview

Doodhpathri takes its name from the frothy, milk-white stream that tumbles over white rocks through its central meadow. Set in the Budgam district at a gentler altitude than Gulmarg or Sonamarg, it makes an easy day trip from Srinagar and stays largely uncommercialised — a picnic meadow ringed by conifer forest with grazing ponies and sheep rather than souvenir stalls.
