Shikara Ride
Glide across Dal Lake in a hand-paddled Shikara, past floating gardens and houseboats.
The Shikara is Kashmir's iconic wooden gondola — soft-cushioned, hand-paddled and unhurried. Rides range from a quick 30-minute loop around the houseboats to a full sunset journey through the floating vegetable market and lotus gardens of Dal Lake.
